INGREDIENTS

2 cups filtered water

½ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (roughly 2.5 lemons)

1 cup frozen strawberries

2 tbsp raw unpasteurized honey  

½ cup frozen blueberries (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients (except blueberries) together in a blender and blend until smooth.

Instead of ice, add optional blueberries directly into glass when serving to keep lemonade cold.

Serves: 1 large mason jar

Most store bought lemonades or powdered mixes contain gut inflaming refined sugar (even cane sugar is still a fancied up way of saying sugar!) Raw unpasteurized honey is a prebiotic (it feeds the health promoting microbes in our gut and is full of antioxidants, enzymes, minerals and vitamins!

STRAWBERRY LEMONADE
